I like their mobile app so I tried this. Pretty good so far. Please add the ability to sync with my mobile app. This app is WAY EASIER to use and WAY CHEAPER than PDG Gold!
I love the app. I have it on my Iphone and MAC but the MAC version is missing the ribbon art on the test questions. It asks what ribbon is shown and there is no ribbon visible. please fix.
ADTC is wrong
ADTC for TSgt test is sevrely wrong on the desktop app. it is correct on mobile-- also building these as two separate apps was.... a choice
Not Great
Have already found a few typos and some actual errors and haven't even gone through all the test questions yet. For example, one answer choice lists AFI 35-101 as "Public Affairs Responsibilities and Managment" when this document is actually titled "Public Affairs Operations." My seem like a nominal distinction to the developers but this is the exact kind of minute detail that we are being tested on. Attendtion to detail is key and it's disconcerting to see misinformation in study material im counting on.
Great App but missing some functionality
I like using this app to study on my computer. I feel like the information is presented really well but wish that the app was uodated to have more functionality such as being able to select the answer with the corresponding letters on my keyboard instead of having to click every single time. It would also be nice to navigate through questions and study cards with the directional arrows on the keyboard.
will not grade test
this app is so buggy. When i take a test it does not grade it. biggest waste of $15
Could be better
1. While going through the ADTC test questions, there would be some sections that did not match up with the study material for those specific sections, but woould be a test for something completely different. 2. Some tests would not load and could not test my knowledge on said sections. 3. Reinstalled the application to see if that did anything but it really just deleted all of my progress that I have made. I have concludede that this app has great information and I have used it in the past for SSgt testing but this time around, seems a lot more buggy. A bit ridiculous seeinig as I have paid for this program yet still incorrectly functions.
Testing malfunction
The tests generate questions from a completely separate section at times. I was attempting to test on Chapter 19 section B in the TSgt guide and it would only generate questions from Chapter 21 Section E. I even deleted and downloaded the app as a means of troubleshooting and nothing worked. Anyone else have this issue?
Great App
I personnally like this one better than the one on the phone, mainly because it makes you sit down and study. I do, however, wish that this would have been updated alongside of the phone app. The new update to the phone app is really well put together and better at aiding study. ALSO, they need to make this app work with your phone account so you do not need to purchase it a second time. Even if you have to purchase them seperately, they should be able to talk to eachother.
Not a Very Good App
I really wanted to like this since I enjoy the iPhone version a lot. But I bought htis app and it won't load anything. I uninstalled the application numerous times and still nothing. I will just tick to the iPhone app at this time.
Its great but
It an amazing app easy to use but the problem that im curretnly having is when i open the application i can only see after of the information when i click on the study tab. Is there a way to fix that
Great App
I can definitely state I’ve used this for the FY18 cycle and scored a 76 on my PDG compared to the FY17 score of 65. I have this app on my phone and love it and I just downloaded it for my Mac. My only issue so far is that I wish I could go full screen with the text being centered. When I expanded it, the text remained at the bottom of my screen. It’d be great if you guys could fix that and I’d definitely give it the full rating it deserves.
Wish the Phone app came with it/portions not loading
So overall, the software is great and the money spent is worth it considering the alternative is over a hundred bucks and says the same info. I do enjoy the basic layout. I do have issues when testing and either selecting the Lessons/Units/MKTS menu. When I am on full screen the different sections will not load unless I exit the full screen and come back to it. It is a litle buggy with that and scrolling. I also wish the mobile device app was included or if it were the same program. Thanks
Questions are Supeior!
Thanks for not making every other question with “which is not” or “all except which…” - it makes the student actually learn the information and not just memorize the wrong answers. You’ve got more questions, better questions and it’s cheaper. So yeah - I like the simple approach. The only small suggestion/request—can you adjust the window settings so when you 'maximize’ the app rescales to full screen and not just a bigger window? Maybe the ability to use a keyboard for answer selection would be cool, but above all, it’s excellent. Highly suggested. I use this app to keep myself in check compared to inflated scores on you know, the other one...
Multiple Purchases are required for devices
I purchased this app via my MacBook with plans to download it on my Iphone as well. However, even though the app clams to be able to be shared with six devices, it cannot. This took some time to figure out talking with Apple Support Team. The description/details should be changed not to mislead!
MKTS Tests please
I really wish this has the MKTS tests like the mobile apps do. Other than that it is good!
